Healing with Colour

Have you ever wondered why every time you admire nature and its beautiful colours we sense pleasure? Or how can different colours generate feelings of passion or malancholy, feel hot or cold, stimulate or sedate? Why do most people prefer working in an enviroment animated with colour rather than working in clinical surroundings?

Well the answer is simple, we resinate with colour and light twenty four seven and all shades of light and colours play a major role in our life. The study of colour is fascinating, understanding that each tone or shade has a code of vibrations opens a new dimension to our awareness. Colour is essentially everywhere, we are completely surronded by it, yet we frequently neglect to see it or we feel afraid to explore it. We all have preferences for one colour or another and these colours say a lot about us psychologically as well as physically. Our choice of colour is intensily personal, the clothes we wear, the decor of our homes, even the car we drive are all making personal statement about ourselves.

Colour healing has its roots in the ancient civilisation of Egypt, India and China, the benefits were well known and frequently used to heal and bring balance. Did you know that the colour orange aids digestion and stimulates the appetite while blue suppress hunger and lower the blood pressure? And just like the sun rays provide a good source of vitamin D and energy, the rays of colours are also good on our moods, emotions and behaviour.

Our day to day living can be enhanced by surronding ouserlves with the colours that are most harmonious with our own personal vibration for the day. You can learn more about healing with colour by booking a treatment with me or attending my workshops which i will be running over two days Sunday 28th July and Sunday 4th August, just click on classes on my website www.innerlighttherapies.com.au to see the details.

I am looking forward to see you there and share the secrets of colour healing.
